About Me

A Life Shaped by Duty and Determination

My story is one of resilience, service, and transformation. As a U.S. Army veteran with 12.5 years of honorable service, my life has been shaped by the values of duty, honor, and leadership. My time in the Army prepared me for the challenges I would later face, teaching me the importance of serving others with integrity and commitment. Those experiences, combined with my passion for public service, laid the foundation for my mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

In 2018, after overcoming cancer, I made a pivotal decision: I stopped postponing my purpose and began sharing my journey through writing. As I often say, “I’ve lived the problems most politicians campaign about.” My personal battles and the lessons I’ve learned have given me a unique perspective that I’m eager to share. Drawing on my military experiences and my fight with cancer, I began crafting my memoir, Corelli: A Life of Significance.

This book is more than just my personal story—it’s a reflection of the lessons I’ve learned throughout my life, from my service in the Army to my recovery from cancer. Through my writing, I invite you to join me in exploring a future built on hope, perseverance, and the courage to face life’s challenges head-on. My memoir is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the power of living with purpose. It’s not just a story of survival—it’s a call to action for anyone who wants to live a life of significance and make a real impact.
